Zelenskyy shared his thoughts Trump's idea to end war quickly

Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to US presidential candidate Donald Trump's proposal to end the Russian-Ukrainian war in 24 hours, stating that Ukraine would not agree to "just stop and forget everything."

Zelenskyy, in an interview with the BBC, said, "Everybody will be happy if one person in the world, and this person is Donald Trump, can stop the war in 24 hours. The question is, what the price is and who will pay?

"I'm not meaning that his idea is to push us to pay. But if he wants to do it in 24 hours, the simple way is to push us to pay, because it's understandable how – it means just stop and give Ukrainian land to the Russians and forget. Sanctions out, everything out.

"Putin will take the land. Putin will make a victory for his society, for the world. And no, nothing, nobody in prison – nothing, any accountability – nothing, tribunal – nothing, zero. Yes, it's a very simple way. But we will never agree to this, never. And there is not any guy in the world who can push us to do it.

"Because it is not about one president or ten people; it is about a country. The Russians slaughtered so many people, how can you simply forget it? We will not forgive it."

Zelenskyy also reacted to Republican JD Vance's statement that it doesn't matter what happens in Ukraine, suggesting that the American may not fully comprehend what is going on there. However, the Ukrainian leader stated that if a new team comes to the United States following the elections, he is willing to work with it "without fear of hard work."

Russians occupy Prohres in Donetsk Oblast after 48 hours of fighting

On July 20, Russian forces occupied the village of Prohres in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk Oblast, according to DeepState analysts.

The analysts reported that the tide of the battle for Prohres shifted rapidly over the past 48 hours. Ukrainian forces had been relatively successful in repelling enemy attacks for the previous three months, although there had been occasional losses of positions. The village was initially held by a Ukrainian infantry brigade, but a large-scale assault by Russian forces on July 19 led to the near-total abandonment of the village. Reinforcements from another mechanized brigade stationed on the western street of the village were brought in, but due to insufficient infantry, Ukrainian forces had to retreat on July 20 to positions behind the village.

The Ukrainian brigade positioned along the railway is now forced to expand its positions to the flank, and there is a risk of encirclement. No order has been given to align the front line.

The Russian advance has two simultaneous goals: to approach or cut the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka road and to move along the ridge along which the railway runs, aiming to reach the high ground at 224.8 meters and Novohrodivka.

In addition to Prohres, Russian forces have also advanced in the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Pishchane, near Lozuvatske, Novooleksandrivka, and Andriivka.
