Cruelty of tortures in Kherson Oblast shocks ombudsman: people electrocuted.

mytro Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament’s Commissioner for Human Rights, has been appaled by the extent of torture that the Russian invaders applied to civilians in Kherson Oblast.

Details: Lubinets reported that  two torture chambers, where dozens of people had been tortured, have been discovered in the city of Kherson. There are confirmed facts of victims killed following torture.

The ombudsman stated that both pro-Ukraine citizens and wealthy people – who were offered release for ransom –  had been kept in those torture chambers.

Lubinets expressed an opinion that more Russian torture chambers will be discovered  in other settlements.

Quote: "I have not seen [tortures on] such a scale before. And I have personally visited all torture chambers in different regions of Ukraine. The scale is just horrifying… It seems like the Russian soldiers enjoy the process of killing and torturing our citizens…

I have even spoken with a young man who had been held and tortured in one location for 45 days. During that time, he witnessed dozens of other people being tortured as well. They were electrocuted, beaten with metal pipes, and had their bones broken. All this was on camera, that is, it was filmed by Russians."
