Power deficit in Ukrainian power system reduced to 20%
As of the morning of 27 November, Ukrainian electricity producers are covering almost 80% of consumption needs, whereas only 10% of the electricity produced is being supplied to critical infrastructures.
ue to the cold weather, electricity consumption by household consumers is gradually increasing. Therefore, the restrictions on consumption continue in force due to the power shortfall, which is currently an estimated 20%.
Ukrenergo informs regional power distribution companies of the consumption limits for each oblast, and these cannot be exceeded; each distribution system operator must independently determine the types of outages, whether emergency or planned, and apply them directly.
In particular, 50% of all consumers can now use electricity and water simultaneously in Lviv Oblast. 718 settlements of the oblast are cut off from electricity, and 314 are partial without power.
