Wagner Group recruits convicts from the Central African Republic to fight in Ukraine.

The Wagner Group [a Russian private military company (PMC) - ed], owned by Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, is recruiting rebels from prisons in the Central African Republic (CAR) and is sending them, among others, to fight in Donbas, as was reported by two CAR senior military officials to The Daily Beast.

Sources in CAR, where armed rebels have controlled a significant part of the country for the last ten years, say that dozens of men who have been convicted for such crimes as rape and homicide are being recruited from prisons by the local branch of the Wagner Group.

These squads include hundreds of fighters who are widely known as "black Russians". According to the officers, many of the recruits are rebels, who are considered terrorists by the military for their violent and intimidating treatment of the local population to achieve political objectives.

Russian troops regroup on Kinburn Spit.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet gained control over the Kinburn Spit in Mykolaiv Oblast, the Russian troops are currently regrouping there.

Yevhen Yerin, Head of the joint press center for Ukraine’s defense forces on the Tavriya front, during the 24/7 national joint newscast on 29 November, reported that the enemy is currently regrouping there. While commenting on a general situation on the southern front, Colonel Yerin pointed out that the invaders are constantly attacking Kherson, both my to "spread fear and panic among civilians" and "keep in shape" the Ukrainian forces.

On the Sivershchyna front, Russian units conducted demonstrative and provocative actions at the Russian-Ukrainian border in the districts of Bryansk and Kursk oblasts (Russia) that are closer to the border. The occupiers fired from mortars and tubed artillery, hitting the vicinities of Yanzhulivka, Mykolaivka, and Halahanivka in Chernihiv Oblast and Vilna Sloboda in Sumy Oblast.

On the Slobozhanshchyna front, the invaders continued to hold a grouping of its forces in the border regions of Belgorod Oblast (Russia). They used tanks, mortars and tubed artillery to attack Strilecha, Hlyboke, Zelene, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Budarky and Ambarne in Kharkiv Oblast. The Russians involved attacked UAVs in strikes on the settlements of Zelene and Budarky.

The invaders lead the defense on the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts. They struck the areas in and around Orlianske, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Tabaivka, and Pishchane in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselivske, Torske, and Ozerne in Donetsk Oblast with tanks and the entire spectrum of artillery.

The Russian forces used artillery of various types to attack the positions of the Ukrainian defense forces and the settlements of Vuhledar, Neskuchne, and Prechystivka on the Novopavlivka front in Donetsk Oblast.

Russian prisoners were sent to factory to build tanks.

250 convicts sentenced to forced labor, serving their sentences in Nizhny Tagil, will be employed at UralVagonZavod, the largest tank factory [in the world - ed.].

Press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service in Sverdlovsk Oblast (Russia); Important Stories, an independent Russian investigative reporting media outlet reports that the prisoners will work as machine tool operators, drill operators, turners, milling machine operators, grinding machine operators, electric welders, mechanics and crane operators.

The media specify that the prisoners will be involved in auxiliary work and will not have access to classified information.

Uralvagonzavod is the only factory in Russia that produces T-72 and T-90 tanks. After the start of the war, production switched to a three-shift working schedule, and in August, the factory began to work around the clock.
