Russia attacked Kharkiv : 7 people injured
Russian forces launched glide bomb attacks on the Kyivskyi district in Kharkiv city on September 17, injuring at least seven people. One of the bombs struck a wooded area near a shopping mall. Among the injured were four emergency response workers who were nearby fighting a fire.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov initially reported six injuries, while the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office later confirmed seven casualties, including three civilians. This incident is part of ongoing attacks in the region, targeting both populated and unpopulated areas.
Russians attack Kherson Oblast glide bombs
Russian forces attacked Kherson Oblast with aerial bombs, destroying an "invincibility center" and residential buildings. The strikes caused fires in the affected areas. Invincibility centers are heated facilities equipped with food and power banks to help residents during power outages. The attack occurred in a settlement within the Beryslav district.
Russians attacked Sumy Oblast with glide bombs
The Russian army attacked Hlukhiv in Sumy Oblast on the morning of September 17 with three guided bombs, killing a father and son, aged 64 and 34. The bombs targeted civilian infrastructure, which is a method of warfare prohibited by international law. The attack also damaged at least 20 private households. Prosecutors and other law enforcement agencies are documenting the aftermath.
